Being busy does not automatically mean you are bad at plants. It usually means you need plants that tolerate gaps in attention and do not depend on a perfect daily routine.
Start by being realistic about light and watering. A forgiving plant in the correct light is usually more successful than an easy plant kept in the wrong place.
Sansevieria and many Aglaonema types are useful examples because they can tolerate less frequent care while still contributing strong shape or color.
The goal is not to own the most impressive plant. The goal is to find one that fits your real life well enough that growing it becomes enjoyable.
